Amatae Character

Description

I finally finished with Amatae. Amatae is an elven ranger in a D&D (Pathfinder rules) game that is being run by a friend of mine. I spent entirely too much time getting the fabric to be what I wanted. The background is boring, but the point is to get a good look at the character, not her surroundings.

I'll admit that I'm still not pleased with the boots, but I had to pick a point to stop since the first game was tonight. The player was very happy, which is what I was shooting for. Very little post-work was done. I did fix her hair around her pointy ear and filled some holes in the side of her bodice under her arm. Oh, and some minor blending to fix some kind of bumpy bits on her hair.

Only three more characters to go. Assuming my friend doesn't ask for any more NPC pictures. Me and my crazy ideas.

Heh. You and your crazy ideas. I have enjoyed all of these and this one is VERY good! No harm in using presets, although I bet in time you get much better at tweaking them, Barb. I think the neutral expression is OK, here, but I'd love to see you work with a bit of a smile for her. The standing posture is particularly good, right down to the feet (Nice bend in the boot of her left foot). and the conforming green part with the gold pattern on it is GREAT. I really love the look of linen in the portrait shot. EXCELLENT!! :D

I'm not surprised that your friend is pleased. I would be, too.;)
