I don't know who she is. It isn't as important as the fact that I rendered something. The lighting was rubbish. I spent more time trying to figure out what to buy than I spent working in DAZ. Oh, well, another day.

Lighting is a challenge, that's for danged sure. 
A bit of fill lighting would work nicely as an addition to the main lighting. In Poser there is an option for "image based lighting" that works very well for that. I don't know if such an option is available in Studio. Nice pose that looks pretty natural. I've been finding that if I deliberately introduce a little asymmetry into the facial features it makes things look even more natural.
All in all, I say keep working with it, Barb!
